this is the best i could do today. i think someone who is better with photoshop than me could probably purty it up enough to see how many puppies are in the shot. i think i see four...

your are like a proud mom showing off her babies. is fiona letting you get close to them? or are you giving her space?

fiona was a bit wary the first day... she warned me off when i reached into the house once, but i think she didn't realize it was me. now she's fine with me reaching in, petting her, giving her food. i haven't tried reaching for a puppy yet. i'll do it slow and easy and i think she'll be ok.
she's finally eating again... she didn't really eat yesterday, except for the afterbirth (mmm... appetizing) and she didn't eat the bowl i left her this morning or at lunch.
so after school i reached in and hand-fed her a few kibbles, and it's like she suddenly realized she was starving... she ate one bowl right then, and then another two hours later. i put bacon grease on it to tempt her ;) i'm so sneaky.
Woo! Bacon grease; that's very good trick to remember.
