took a looooong walk on the road to nowhere today. i was in direct sunshine, which was fantastic. once the sun slipped behind the mountain though, it was fucking cold. check it out:




And then, the northern lights were dancing tonight. It was beautiful. They say that if you whistle, the lights will be brought closer to you. But you should never whistle for the lights on top of a hill, because they will come and cut your head off. Also, clapping will drive the lights away. Anyway, from my very scientific observations, it is more effective to whistle a tune than just to whistle like you would for a dog. I chose 'The Blower's Daughter' as my beckoning whistle.
