where did the weekend go?

I've been thinking about Goethe's blurb about commitment. i like it. it rings true... but i am skeptical. he talks about Providence, which i don't get. And he says that when you commit to something, the whole universe moves to help you. maybe it's true... i haven't found it to be so, but whatever. the point that is troubling me is that the whole universe could move to help you regardless of whether or not you've committed to something good. i guess it's hard to be evilly creative. it's creepy. this is the sort of half-baked thought that i've been having all day.

but i like the part about boldness having genius, power and magic in it. i do believe in boldness.

i spent the evening looking at job postings. there are a few places in quebec that are accepting applications all the time. i aim to have some in by the end of the week. most other places are not showing any postings, really, at all. i've seen a couple of postings that would be perfect for me, say in a couple of years. one is for a teacher of students who have just been released from YO programs. i feel like i've been out of the southern loop too long to try to step into something with that much responsibility.

friends and ex-boyfriends tend to resurface at predictable intervals in my life. everyone has their own pattern. strange.
