are rose coloured glasses euphemistic for seeing through your eyelids because you are that tired?

i used the wheel a lot today... my shoulders are a bit stiff. it took me a long time to get the hang of "centering" my clay. if it isn't centered right, one side of the bowl is thicker and wobbles and eventually the bowl will tear or collapse. so after some very comical bowl-piles, i finally produced one bowl that i'm pretty proud of. tomorrow i'll try some more, and i'll work on trimming what i've got.

i'm doing some neat work with slips (colourants mixed into the clay) too. i like the slips because they add a three-dimensional aspect to decorations. tomorrow i'll try a paper mask on the mug i made yesterday.
