got milk?

i wonder if teachers develop that sort of crazed look from years of unrelenting interruptions...

so. i'm sitting at school on a saturday afternoon for two reasons: one, i think i've figured out the kiln's issues, and so i'm testing out my theory. two, i wanted to use the internet. the kiln is currently on and running (yay!) and i'll check in a little while if it is actually generating heat (i hope i hope i hope!). 2 birds, 1 stone.

i'm eating dry lucky charms out of the box.
we had our first-ever poker night last night. it was cool. i won many nibs and a few marshmallows. we have agreed that next time we will use non-edible poker chips. they invariably make it into the mouth, and then you realize that everyone's been touching your candy and you start to feel sick.

it's been a crazy week, and i feel like a bit of my sanity is slipping. mostly it feels good - a pleasant sort of slip into unreality. silliness as opposed to weeping. i feel compelled to tell you that.

Nalu's puppies are three weeks old, and their eyes have just started to open. She's a good mama, she's kept all nine of them alive. They are huge, too. I can't believe how fast they are growing.

Little pup-u-lars. Can you tell yet if they are p-dog pups, or if they will be adoptable?

there will most likely be some p-dogs, but also some huskies. but they will all have to find homes up here, because i have no way to get them south.

they certainly are ethnically diverse, aren't they?
