oh what a weekend. it's never dull here. ok, that's a lie. it has been dull at times, but not lately.
i have taken on way too much. i'm now the staff liason for student government, which is a fucking huge amount of work. i'm also half of the friday afternoon activity people (because i was tired of how the activities suck) and now i'm also heading to yellowknife in a couple of weeks for a yoga workshop. how cool is that? i'm eager and excited. i can't wait to explore yellowknife a little bit. i hope the other yogis are cool people, and i hope i have a good time. i hope i also get to visit a bar or two, and a coffeeshop.
the downside of all this wonderful extracurricularity is that i'm exhausted. my prep periods are used to chase people and do menial paperworks. and that means i have to stay late to prepare and mark. you should SEE the pile of marking waiting for me.
did you know that i am the only person among my acquaintance here with a stunning vocabulary? no one knew what 'lecherous' or 'placate' mean. no one! how is it possible to live without such perfect words? i guess that is what i get for living in the "LOL" generation. all the old folk know what lechery is.
ps my wrist is still black and blue (ok, yellow and green) from friday's volleyball game. i gotta learn to stop bumping and starting smashing.

supposed to be nov 9, but it's all up in the air again. apparently the school board has been refusing leave to some people who've applied to go.
