beans

yesterday it snowed. a lot. (picture coming as soon as blogger gets out of its funk).

today it is pouring rain. it poured rain all night and it is still pouring.

school has been cancelled since yesterday morning because there is no heat. the main valve is broken (that's why it was so bad last year) and they have to wait for a replacement to be flown in from god knows where. all my careful plans are now sitting there waiting. i'm a little bit bored. i suppose i could tidy my room, or take my canvas and stretchers to the school and prepare them. i guess i could use this unexpected (alright, not entirely unexpected) extension of the weekend to do something useful. but probably i'll end up eating a big breakfast and reading. rain makes me homebody-ish.

maybe there'll be school this afternoon.
