we have no school today. the big storm that nearly blew town down also opened the river all the way and caused a huge amount of winter run-off, which in turn ate into the permafrost holding up the bridge supports, causing the bridge to become unstable. this is the bridge that connects uptown and downtown to the water reservoir, the sewage treatment plant and the dump. not to mention the government buildings. so.. they can't bring water. so.. no school.
