i hope you're all enjoying your holidays. myself, i am proud to announce that in spite (or because) of getting a little bit hammered on the plane from iqlauit, i made it to the brew pub wednesday night, mere hours after deplaning. i was hungry and i was also starting to get hungover by the end of the ride to kingston. i needed a pint to ward it off until i could get to bed. unfortunately, i was totally destroyed the next day, and crashed so i hard i didn't even go out thursday night.
i'm now sequestered away from fun at my parents' place in whitby until after the blessed day when santa puts baby jesus under the tree. happily, my sister and her husband are coming down tomorrow to spend christmas here. it will be the first christmas we've all spent together in years - since before i moved to quebec. it will be a full, cramped house with too many animals, but at least it won't be me v. the parents.
