the sun is shining out on the fjord, and somehow i managed to sleep until 10! here is my plan:
- feed the dogs
- concoct and consume a delightful cafe au lait and other breakfast-y goodness
- prepare a crock pot of apple cider (very easy and spectacularly yummy)
- get dressed
- take the dogs and walk into the sunshine (I'll bring a tennis ball)
- stay in the sunshine with the dogs until i get cold or they get bored
- come home and enjoy the apple cider
last night we played Things, as is often our wont on a saturday night. as the token single chick in the room, i was thoroughly roasted for my alleged use of "devices." mostly i find it really funny, but then after the 40th repetition, sometimes i just get tired of it. and i'd like to know why they don't bug the token single guy about blisters on his palms? anyway, last night's trigger point for me was the mention of a small-engine repair course that is starting in town soon. apparently it means i'll be able to get my diesel-powered monster fixed,
